Serving O’Fallon, IL

The popular Honda Accord has progressed through exciting updates throughout its decades-long history. This trend continues in 2023 with the introduction of the Accord’s 11th generation. From front to rear, the next-generation Honda Accord benefits from thoughtful updates that can boost your ownership experience. What are the key differences between the 2022 and 2023 Accord?

Performance

One of the powertrains available in the 2022 Honda Accord is a turbocharged, 252-horsepower gas engine, and this system is not offered for 2023. In addition, four of the 2023 Accord’s trims are now available with a hybrid engine system. This is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder system with two electric motors, and it produces 204 total horsepower. For 2022 and 2023, the Accord is outfitted with a continuously variable transmission and front-wheel drive. In addition, the base engine for both years is a 1.5-liter turbocharged, four-cylinder gas engine that generates 192 horsepower.

Appearance

The differences continue across the exterior with the introduction of a leaner, fastback-style profile in 2023. The latest Accord is also 2.7 inches longer. The new look includes subtle accent stripes down the hood and smooth, decadent contours on the sides. The nose is sporty with a wide grille and a drop-down bumper. The slender headlights have an angled touch with a bold LED lighting bar. The Accord offers black wheels, a large sunroof, and heated and powered side mirrors for both model years.

Features

The 2023 Accord has also been revamped inside the cabin, including a clean, metal-accented design. The cabin also is roomier thanks to the 2023 Accord’s larger dimensions. Some of the 2023 Accord’s new features include a forward-facing camera with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with extended detection, traffic jam assist, a wireless charging pad, voice commands, on-air updates for the enhanced infotainment tech, Google-based features, and a few others. In addition, most of the 2022 model year’s features are offered in the latest model year.
