Serving O’Fallon, IL

For O’Fallon-area auto shoppers who want to drive a well-equipped, subcompact crossover, the Honda HR-V is a solid option. In 2023, the HR-V’s second generation is introduced with a mix of exciting improvements. What will you discover when you compare the 2022 Honda HR-V to the 2023 version?

Performance

In 2022 and 2023, all HR-V trims are moved by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. This engine is paired with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission, and all-wheel drive is offered as an upgrade. The 2022 Honda HR-V used a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that created 141 horsepower. For 2023, the HR-V uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 158 horsepower.

Appearance

Honda has upgraded the HR-V’s façade for 2023. The new look shows a revised front end with a flat hood and a curved nose. The reshaped grille is smaller and mounts over a sleek, redesigned bumper. The headlights now trend toward a point as they approach the grille. The 2023 HR-V’s sides have deep, chiseled contours. On the exterior, both model years may be available with up to 18-inch wheels, heated side mirrors, and a chrome exhaust tip.

Features

There are also a few improvements inside the 2023 Honda HR-V. For 2022, the rear row was configurable, and this has been eliminated in 2023. In addition, the 2023 HR-V’s dashboard has a refreshed, clean look. For both model years, select or all trims come with cloth or leather upholstery, a 9-inch central display screen, parking sensors, a wireless charging pad, a blind-spot monitor, keyless entry, heated front seats, remote engine start, lane departure mitigation, forward collision mitigation, USB ports, smart device integration apps, and an auto climate control system.
