What’s New for the 2025 Honda Pilot?
The Honda Pilot has strong appeal among SUV shoppers in the O’Fallon area who need three rows of seats and have solid expectations for comfort and style. The 2023 Pilot introduced the model’s fourth generation, so the 2025 model has a modern edge. While most aspects of the 2025 Pilot are unchanged, a few notable changes require your attention.
The most significant update to the 2025 Honda Pilot is its trim offerings. For 2025, the base trim level has been dropped, leaving the Sport to fill its spot. There is also a new top trim level. The all-new Black Edition bumps the Pilot Elite down. The 2025 trim lineup from bottom to top is the Sport, the EX-L, the Touring, the TrailSport, the Elite, and the Black Edition. If you select the 2025 Pilot Black Edition as your next SUV, it will have leather upholstery with red accents as well as black accents throughout the cabin and exterior.
Your on-the-road experience with the 2025 Honda Pilot will reveal no changes to the SUV’s performance compared to the 2024 version. The 2025 Pilot comes with a V6, 3.5-liter gas engine with 285 horsepower. This is linked to a 10-speed auto transmission. Maneuvering in compact spaces is a breeze with the crossover’s tight turning circular. The Pilot boasts a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. The TrailSport adds a lifted and advanced suspension system.
The 2025 Pilot is unchanged throughout the exterior except for the Black Edition’s upgrades. The Pilot is defined by a tall profile with smartly raked side windows for a modern touch. The model’s personality shines through its front-end design. The hexagonal grille displays a large weave on the mesh and links to the lean, horizontal headlights. These sharp headlights boast an LED line along the lower perimeter.
The Honda Pilot is well-equipped across all trim levels and provides you with seating for seven to eight passengers. Depending on the trim selected, the Pilot has either a bench seat or a captain’s chair in the second row. In addition, some trims have a pair of 7-inch or 9-inch display screens for the infotainment system features and wireless smartphone technologies. Additional features offered in select Pilot trims are wireless phone charging, removable storage spaces, heated seats, traffic jam assist, a push-button ignition, a multi-zone auto climate management system, and many assistive technologies.
