The 2023 CR-V received exciting updates from bumper to bumper with the introduction of its sixth generation. Honda has continued to update this small crossover in 2024 with the debut of an all-new trim level. The Sport-L trim `takes its place between the Sport Hybrid and the Sport Touring Hybrid. Between the launch of these trim levels and the introduction of several other improvements, you can appreciate numerous changes between the 2023 and 2024 model years.
Performance
The gas-powered and hybrid engines offered in the 2023 model year carry up to the 2024 model year without change. The all-new Sport-L trim is equipped with a hybrid system. This is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter hybrid engine that gives you 204 horsepower. The gas engine is a 190-horsepower, four-cylinder, turbo 1.5-liter system. The first five of the six trim levels have the option of front-wheel or all-wheel drive. The top Sport Touring trim level has standard all-wheel drive.
Appearance
There are no design updates to the Honda CR-V for the 2024 model year. This model has a mature, sporty style with a tapered, rounded nose, black molding, and a pinstripe line on the sides. The angled headlights feature an upper LED bar integrated with the black grille. The lower fascia is narrow and is flanked by thin air vents. Select or all trims have a hands-free liftgate, up to 19-inch wheels, roof rails, heated side mirrors, a moonroof, and additional exterior features.
Features
If you choose the all-new Sport-L trim, your crossover will come with an eight-speaker sound system, a 9-inch touch display screen, wireless smartphone app connections, driver’s side memory settings, satellite radio, leather seats, and parking sensors. The features available for other trims are comparable between the 2023 and 2024 model years. Some of these are a navigation system, a heated steering wheel, ambient cabin lights, low-speed auto braking, front and rear USB ports, heated front seats, forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and a few additional features.
