Service Technician Job Description

As an Automotive Service Technician at Serra Honda O’Fallon, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our customers’ vehicles. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks on Honda vehicles, including engine diagnostics, brake repairs, electrical system troubleshooting, and more.
• Conducting vehicle inspections and accurately diagnosing issues to provide effective solutions.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Honda vehicle technology, systems, and repair procedures.
• Collaborating with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs and services to customers in a clear and friendly manner.

Service Technician Applicant Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an automotive technology program or relevant certification.
• Proven experience as an automotive service technician.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in using automotive repair tools and equipment.
• Knowledge of Honda vehicles and systems is a plus.
• ASE certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
